There are local train stations at Totton and Ashurst, both just a 10 minute taxi ride away. For those flying in, Heathrow is a 75 minutes by car or there's the smaller Southampton Airport just 15 minutes away. The New Forest is a renowned for its beautiful landscape and diverse wildlife; as such it offers plenty of opportunities for walking, cycling, nature treks, bird-watching and horse-riding. The hotel can be found in Cadnam, a quaint hamlet with many friendly pubs as well as the Cadnam Cricket Club. Directions

Travelling from London, head south on the M3 then join the M27 towards Bournemouth and the south coast. Take the exit at Junction 1 of the M27 and at the first roundabout, take the first exit and at the next take the third exit towards Lyndhurst (A337). Once on this road follow the signs for Barltey Lodge Hotel immediately on the left-hand side.
